Post 7 In general, I like my program of study, mainly because I like the focus it has on the way of filmmaking, the community and the professors. But sometimes I don't understand why it is considered in the communication area of the university and not in the artistic one, throughout the five years we have to follow a line of study related to communication theory and although I agree that cinema can be a form of communication I think it is an excess of subjects for this aspect. In the same line we are located in the same institute as journalism and obviously the needs are different for each career. Another thing I would change is the duration, maybe four years instead of five for the contents of the film area and some of the communication area, that way it could lower its cost because it is very expensive. Finally, in relation to the subjects, I would like to move the production subject to the second year instead of the third year because it is really necessary to know about bu...

Post 6 I would not like to travel in time, neither to the past nor to the future, it's too much for me and I don't understand what timeline I would be altering. But, if I had to choose a place and time in the future it would probably be Chile in forty years or so. Although it could be depressing, I am curious to know how we are going to live, if we are going to overcome the current model or if we are going to live in a similar one. I think forty years is a good time to let historical processes happen, including the effects of the next constitution as well as the consequences of future revolts. Also, I hope to be alive at that time, so I would like to know if I will get to live in a country with a different development or if it is what it is.  However, and no matter how good or bad the future is, I would just like to make a short visit and come back to this present. Mainly because I want to enjoy my friends and family right now, at their present age and not forty years older.
Post 5 To be honest, I don't like to think about the future and adulthood, it makes me anxious. But if I can dream, in five years or so I would like to be a filmmaker, working in the photography and directing departments to be more specific. I see myself enjoying being on set, relating with people and friends as a collective. But I would not only like to make feature films or short films, I would also like to work on music videos and other film formats. Although I wish to travel with my job I prefer to stay in chile for a long while to be part of the national development of the audiovisual area, specially in this times that there so much going on and so much that needs to be done. Also, I don't see my education ending with the actual career I'm cursing , maybe the institutional aspect but not the idea of me keeping interest in getting new knowledge, I really would like to take workshops to help me with specifics film projects and curses related to other passions not e...

Post 4 In the summer of 2016, I visited my cousins and was surprised when as soon as I opened the door I saw three newborn puppies on the floor. It was the best welcome i could get and of course it was inevitable to end up adopting one of does babys.  Her name is Tomasa, a small mongrel dog. She is the most dependent being I know, loves people even if she doesn't know them and hates to be alone. I don't know how, but she always knows when someone is going to leave the house, so she gets angry, starts barking and bites the person's shoes until the door is closed. Also she doesn´t get well with most dogs, but I like to think she is selective to make friends.  Although I think my mom and I raised a monster, it's impossible for us not to love her with that face and paws, its the baby of the house. We sleep, eat and even travel with her and I'm sure she feels as much love as we do looking at her.

Post 3 I watched a lot of cartoons from a young age, but one of my favorites was the Rugrats. I remember waking up early in the morning and putting on Nickelodeon while everyone else was sleeping in the house. My favorite character was Chuckie because he was the sweet one and didn't have his mother alive, so I felt very sorry for him. In one chapter everybody is celebrating Mother's Day and Chuckie doesn't know what to do until his dad reads him a poem that his mother made him, it's very cute but I always ended up crying. Later I switched Nickelodeon for Disney and became a huge fan of TV shows like Zack and Cody or Sonny With a Chance, but my favorites were Wizard Of Waverly Place and of course Hannah Montana, I followed the latter one to the end, including the movie that was released in theaters. The show was very funny but also had dramatic moments, I was at my limit when miley has to choose between his historical boyfriend, jake, or her new love, Jesse. I hope so...

Post 2 For some reason my dad is obsessed with China so, lucky me, in 2017 he invited my brothers and I to a two weeks trip for the country. Over there, we visit the known great wall of china in Beijing, the terracotta army in Xi'an and the bund in Shanghai, but what I liked the most was walking down a muslim street market because of its cultural mixing, the diversity of people and the shocking food. Although it was amazing to get involved in a culture with thousands of years history and so different from what I knew, the reason why I remember this holidays is because of how many mishaps there were. During those three weeks, and due our dad clumsiness, we lost the luggages at the airport, the cash of all the trip at an hotel and our passports in the subway! For miracle, we ended up recovering everything, but it cost us fights, a hardcore police interrogatory and our faces ending up on a page of some kind of chinese Publimetro . Now I only can laugh about it and be grateful of this...

Post 1 I really would like to visit Bolivia. Mostly because of its diversity in landscapes and culture but also for the low cost due to nearness and money exchange. For what I know, the country is officially a plurinational state and it's located in the centre of South America, limiting with Brasil, Paraguay, Argentina, Chile and Perú. It shares differents geographic spaces like Andes Mountains, Andean Plateau or the Amazon so you can imagine the biodiversity of Bolivia. First, I would like to visit the well known Uyuni salt flats and from there go to Sucre to get involved in the history of the country. Then I would like to take a couple of days to see the jungle at the Amboró National Park and, finally, go up to the world highest capital, La Paz, and visit the near lake Titicaca For now I only would like to go in a long solo trip of a month or so, getting around on a low budget so I can know the most places.
